I went to school for Criminal Justice, but my first dream job was to become a vet. I have such an intense love for animals and working at Coyne is such a dream. I get to work with insanely intelligent people and I get to see animals all day, what’s not to love? Learning from everyone who works here is genuinely a gift. I want all owners to know that we love and care for your animals almost as much as you do. Everyone here truly cares for the health and well-being of everyone that walks in.
Cris’s favorite dad fact-joke is:
“Did you know that the first french fries weren’t actually cooked in France? They were cooked in Greece.”
If she could defy the laws of nature and breed any two animals together it would be a panda and a koala so she could call it ‘Paula’.

Share a funny story that happened at work or a funny animal-related story that has happened to you.
One of our adoptables was getting adopted and managed to escape her new owner’s arms. She was running all over the lobby and it took myself and 2 other receptionists diving on the ground to catch her.
If you could compare yourself to any animal, which would it be and why?
A puma! I’m fast-paced and don’t like to be messed with.
If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be, and why?
A tiger. They’re beautiful creatures. If you raise them from a small cub, they’re very loyal.
