Boarding Amenities for Dogs and Cats

We have a lot to offer our dog and cat boarding guests, because we want to make their boarding experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. To do this, we provide:

  • Daily housekeeping--sanitizing bowls, kennel cleaning, and washing bedding regularly with pet-friendly cleaning supplies
  • Bathroom breaks for dogs 4 times per day
  • Attentive care from our dedicated kennel staff
  • A bland, palatable diet if your pet does not need food from home*
  • Veterinary care as needed from our hospital’s veterinarians
  • A complimentary bath after 2 nights of boarding for dogs (Silver boarding package)
  • 15 minutes of additional cuddle time (Gold boarding package)

*At Coyne Veterinary Center, we recommend that you bring your pet’s food from home, especially if they’re on a prescription diet. We offer our bland diet to help prevent GI upset in pets with sensitive stomachs, but often, their own food from home is best.

Features of Our Pet Boarding Facility

Cats and dogs are kept secure and comfortable in our boarding facility, which features:

  • A climate-controlled environment
  • An AAON unit to keep clean air circulating through the building
  • High, sturdy walls encircling the outdoor play yard

Items You Should Bring from Home

For your pet’s health and comfort, we recommend bringing the following (as needed):

  • Any medications they are currently taking, including parasite preventatives if they’ll be needing them during their stay (make sure meds are in their original containers)
  • Their food (and treats), especially if they are on a special prescription diet
  • Clear instructions for medication administration and feeding (and handling, if necessary)

Please keep your pet’s toys and bedding at home--items can become damaged, so we can’t guarantee their safe return. Let us know if you have any questions about this policy.
